Yes. Doesn't matter if you have 50 guests or 500 guests. Hands down, weddings are naturally stressful endeavors. There are many moving parts, vendors, extended family, time crunches, and the occasional fire to put out behind the scenes - it happens. The key to a successful event is working well under pressure and paying attention to the details. Without fail, every couple I've worked with reaches the "I didn't even think about that" stage in our consultations. It comes down to a choice: either you invest in a professional who is experienced in handling the ins and outs while you enjoy your wedding, or the responsibility will inevitably fall on you, your fiance, and your family. Can you put a price on your peace of mind for one of the biggest days of your lives?
I love working with venues that have banquet managers - it is a great division of responsibility that helps with the day. With that being said, banquet managers are not the same as Day of Coordinators. Normally, banquet managers are responsible for in-house staff - bar tenders, servers, dinner service, etc. A Day of Coordinator is responsible for all your outside vendors, executing the timeline, taking care of your family, and ensuring everything runs smooth. A banquet manager makes sure the venue is taken care. A Day of Coordinator makes sure that you and your family are taken care of.
I have been in the wedding and events industry for over 7 years and have helped coordinate hundreds of weddings all over the Midwest! I started Enchanted Events to customize my services and expertise, as well has maintain work-life balance in the wedding business!
Yes! Not only do I have insurance as a planner and coordinator, I highly suggest my couples to acquire day of wedding insurance.
When you choose Enchanted Events, you get 24/7 contact access for all wedding related questions from the moment that you book until the day of the wedding. I do not make couples wait until the 1-2 month mark to address the questions -I am here to help!
Every package has the base time of 6 hours of day of coordination. I recommend starting your package two hours before the ceremony. This is strategic since most of your vendors will start setting up and you will most likely be in pre-ceremony photos. For most wedding timelines, the 6 hours will take you all the way to your reception opening - with ceremony, cocktail hour, introductions, dinner, speeches, and first dances completed. This is the main portion of the day that needs coordination execution. Before I leave, I hand the timeline off to the DJ while you enjoy the rest of your evening with friends and family! This is how we keep our prices affordable for every couple, while you can always add additional hours/services to any package!
Too many cooks in the kitchen. You will not normally see a team of coordinators unless there are multiple weddings happening simultaneously at a single venue. Not only does this not help the execution of the wedding, it is an unnecessary additional expense for couples. The question is not should we have another coordinator, it's can the vendors execute their scope of service? This is why vendor selection is so important!
Yes! While I am located in the Chicagoland area, I have coordinated weddings all over the Midwest. Our Diamond package is perfect for our destination couples!
No problem! I have a recommended vendor list that is organized per state. This list can be shared with couples after they book.
No, while I will happily recommend vendors I have worked with and facilitate conversations, I do not handle any booking, contract, or payments with vendors due to liability.
All the packages include "light decorating" (lighting candles, table numbers, card box, etc.) However, you can add decorating and/or tear down services to any package.
Since packages are not traditionally organized with month of coordination services, as well as limited availability, I would recommend booking as soon as you have a date and venue.
Your vendors are the experts in their craft. Many coordinators can fall into micromanagement on the wedding day - I don't work like that. The goal is to identify the scope of service for each vendor and make sure they have everything they need to do their job. They are professionals, it is very important to have a good working relationship!
All payments are made through PayPal Business Invoices. There is a $200 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking, and the remaining balance is due two weeks before the wedding.

"I can not say enough amazing things about Hannah. My husband and I were both quite lost when it came to formalities at weddings. Hannah was always able to answer our silly questions like what is an usher… We worked with Hannah for about 8 months and let me tell you why she is the only person you should consider. I am the type of person that can’t even be on time to my own funeral (or wedding in this case) the way Hannah kept everyone on track relieving stress from every person and also staying cool as a cucumber. We get to the ceremony and about 10 minutes before I walk Hannah looks at me and says “okay where are the flower petals?” You know the ones for the flower girls that I didn’t ever even think about. Hannah being the ROCKSTAR she is probably used some Flash like superpowers to make it to the nearest gas station to get a quick bouquet of roses and hand picked the flower petals for my girls to throw. If that’s not the definition of going above and beyond. She will also make sure you have a drink in hand at all times and everything that is important to you will get done as long as you tell her. My husband and I got married during Covid and had our reception this year. Hannah put up and took down our decorations and made sure our day went smoothly. She texted me the morning of then when we got there asked if we needed a drink and checked on us the entire evening to make sure there weren’t any issues. She’s also one of the kindest, most down to earth, and sweetest people I’ve ever met!! I know people say your day is a whirlwind and they aren’t joking! However, I can tell you that I am extremely glad that I hired Hannah and did truly need the service. Hannah helped to work out so many big and small problems from months out to the day of. She is very professional, assertive, and prompt. She looked out for what I wanted and was so kind. She communicated so well with my vendors and got in contact with vendors that I had not been able to receive successful contact from as well as worked out issues, ensured contracts were being followed.
